CTJT Better Blogging course review

One of the online courses I've completed since leaving school, is the Better Blogging certificate with CTJT- run by Cleland Thom, one of the UK's leading corporate media and communications trainers.

Cost: I paid £60-ish. The website now says £250 but look out for offers
The skinny:

• A 7 module course - each module teaches a new idea or skill. At the end of each module there is a practical writing assignment, which is then emailed to Cleland Thom (a big figure in the world of journalism).
• Feedmark and marking is received back via email, usually within hours - they're very fast.
• You email to request the next module of learning materials, then rinse and repeat.
• The learning materials are well written and concise, with lots of practical examples and resources to help you get your head around it.
• The process of this course will see you have improvements in your writing, blogs and work.
• Cleland's feedback, is as usual straight talking but this only makes you want to improve. Call him the Simon Cowell of the writing world, he's good to know.
• The only course I've found specialising in Blogging

Real deal or cowboy college: Real deal and accredited by real associations. It's good to see straight talking practical courses from CTJT where you always see improvement and growth by taking their courses.

This was a good course when I paid £60-ish for it, it is quite short. If you've got £250 to spend with CTJT, take one of their longer courses like freelance journalism, for better value and more practise feedback.

I'm a big fan of CTJT and wish more learning providers out there existed. Cleland is my kind of teacher.
